May 2026
This instalment highlights our upcoming events: the Summer Solstice Festival at Saatchi Gallery, where you can see a live performance of ‘Stand of the Sun’; the launch event for Dr Chloé Duteil’s graphic novel, ‘Summer in Paris’; and the oral history interviews featured at London’s Climate Story Bank.

This month, we shine a spotlight on the progress the Melting Metropolis team have made with policy engagement work. Also, a fantastic oral history community event organised by our partners in New York, plus a blog focusing on reflections from Queens College undergraduate research interns.

We kick off 2026 - and the fourth year of the Melting Metropolis project - with the announcement of a new publication, an upcoming oral history event in New York, and a blog post discussing ‘Climate Resilience’.
